Dental Insurance
TLC offers a Dental Insurance plan with Aetna, a top-rated
national plan and provider network. Dental Benefits include 100% coverage for
Preventive Care, 80% coverage for Basic Dental Services, and 50% coverage for
Major Dental Services. Full Time Employees can enroll in the Dental plan, the 1st of
the month following 60 days employed, or during Annual Open Enrollment (Jan 1st),
regardless of whether they enroll in TLC’s Medical Plan. You don’t have to
offer TLC’s Medical Plan for employees to be eligible for Dental. Group and
Voluntary rates are available, based on level of participation.
Vision Insurance
TLC offers a Vision Insurance plan with EyeMed Vision Care, a
top-rated national plan and provider network, with very low group rates for
employees and their families. Vision Benefits include $10 Copay for annual eye
exams, annual benefit allowances for all lenses with a $0 Copay for standard
contacts, and a $170 benefit allowance every 2 years for frames. Note: the
TLC Aetna Medical plan includes Routine Eye Exams as preventive care once a
year, but it may be subject to the Specialist provider copay. The EyeMed Vision
plan offers more robust coverage than the Medical plan, and employees who need
corrective lenses may consider enrolling in this plan along with the Medical
plan. Full Time Employees can enroll in the Vision plan, the 1st of
the month following 60 days employed, or during Annual Open Enrollment (Jan 1st),
regardless of whether they enroll in TLC’s Medical Plan. You don’t have to
offer TLC’s Medical Plan for employees to be eligible for Vision.
